ARRIVAL OF THE WAROONGA
The B.I.S.N. Company's R.M.S. Waroonga, from London, and ports, with passengers, immigrants, and a general cargo, anchored in the Brisbane roadstead early yesterday morning, and was assisted up the river on yesterday forenoon's tide, berthing alongside Messrs. Gibbs, Bright, and Co's wharf, Kangaroo Point, at midday. The immigrants having undergone the usual inspection by the immigration authorities were immediately transferred to the Boko which landed them at the depot. The Waroonga having embarked her emigrants left Gravesend at 5.50 p.m. ou the 23rd August, and experienced light winds and fine weather for the most part to Port Said.

OBITUARY.
MRS. H. A. GNECH.
Mrs. Hermine Auguste Gnech (74), widow of Mr. Rudolph Gnech, died at the residence of her daughter. Mrs. C. M. Murray, North Ipswich, last night. Mrs. Gnech, whose maiden name was Maroske, was born in Germany, and at an early age came to Queensland, where she subsequently married Mr. Rudolph Gnech. They were early settlers in the Coulson (Fassifern) distrlct, where they reared a family of five sons and two daughters. Her husband died 22 years ago. The funeral will leave her late residence, Coulson, to-day, for the Coulson Cemetery.
