OBITUARY.
The residents of Pialba and Gooroolba will be sorry to learn of the death of Mrs. Anne Maria Beck, wife of Mr. Peter Lauers Beck, formerly a well known farmer in the Pialba district, but latterly residing at Gooroolba. The loss of the wife and mother is the first that has occurred in the family. Mrs. Beck leaves a husband and grown-up family of four sons and two daughters to mourn her departure. Of the sons Messrs. Alfred Martin, Lauers, and Michael are residents of Gooroolba and Messrs Mat and George live in Brisbane. "Chronicle."
