W. E. ANDREWS
Mr. Walter Ernest Andrews, 63, who died in the Casino Memorial Hospital, was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Andrews, of Ulladulla, N.S.W., and spent his early life in that district.
Later he went to the Lismore district.
He enlisted from Lismore and saw some years' service in the first World War.
He married a London girl and on his return to Australia settled at Eltham.
He joined the Tick Board staff in 1923, and was associated with that department for 24 years.
For the last 34 years he was on the land at Rappville.
He was married a second time to Mrs. Maud Jones at Lismore.
About 18 months ago at Rappville she met with an accident, and was killed when she was thrown from a sulky.
The following family survive : Daughters, Mrs. D. A. West, Keerrong ; Mrs. J. O. Pryor, Urunga ; Mrs. J. Toovey, Port Macquarie, and Mrs. D'Arcy, Rappville, Sons: John, Port Macquarie, and Frederick, Rappville.
