Obituary. - On Wednesday afternoon last, May 28, a large assemblage, including representatives of public bodies, businessmen and friends from the Mulgeldie district, followed the remains of Mr. William Gustav Schimke to the Monto cemetery. Mr. Schimke, who died on Tuesday last after a very short illness, was 46 years of age. Born at Rosewood, Queensland, he came to this district from Murgon several years ago, where he purchased a farm in the Mulgeldie district. For some years the deceased gentleman was a member of the show committee, which body he was keenly interested in. He is survived by his wife and a family of four daughters and two sons.
