WEDDING.
ANDREWS - CLISSOLD.
The Methodist Church, Lismore, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Wednesday last, when Henry Charles S. Andrews was married to Ada Maud, youngest daughter of Mr. Charles R. Clissold, of Nimbin, the Rev. J. Calvert Officiating. The bride, who entered the church with her brother-in-law, Mr. H. C. Reed, who subsequently gave her away, was attired in ivory crepe de chene over white satin, long pointed tunic of shadow lace, finished with silk tassels, bodice pinafore style, with lace and seed pearls, French knots and orange blossoms. She wore the usual wreath and veil, arranged as a mob cap, and carried a shower bouquet of arum lilies, azaleas, and asparagus fern, which, with a ruby ring, was the gift of the bridegroom. There were three bridesmaids, Miss Hilda Duncan, maid of honor, wore cream Oriental satin and shadow lace, Misses Elma and Gladys Reed (cousins), both nieces of the bride, wore white embroidered voile over buttercup. All carried bouquets of fresias and sweet peas, long buttercup streamers, with gold brooches, the gifts of the bridegroom. After being photographed the wedding party adjourned to Sackett and Howard's refreshment room, where the wedding breakfast was served, a beautiful three-tier wedding cake having pride of place. The usual toasts were honored, and later Mr. and Mrs. Andrews left for Casino, the bride travelling in a cream costume, pencil stripe, felt hat and lancer plume. Their future home will be Tympenwood, Tweed River. Mrs. Young wore white satin guipure lace, black hat and lancer plume ; Mrs. E. W. H. Stanger, cream radianta, floral trimmings, saxe blue hat aerophane bows ; Mrs. H. C. Reed, grey voile over white, taffeta silk trimmings, white felt hat and lancer plume. Mrs. J. Leyden, blue silk, pandau hat ; Miss Griffiths, Swiss muslin.
